I’m beyond excited to announce the launch of MiniNutrition, a lifestyle approach to health, incorporating sound science and small sustainable changes to create lifelong health habits. This business has been many years in the making, and I’m thrilled to see it come to life and to share my passion with you.
MiniNutrition was created to help emphasize the importance of nutrition beyond dieting and weight loss. It is so tempting to judge the effectiveness of our diet and overall health by the number on the scale. However, the nutritional impact of wholesome eating and healthy living reach far beyond this limited definition of “health.”
What is health?
Well, according to Merriam Webster health is “The condition of being sound in body, mind, or spirit.” In other words, health is a spectrum and there is no set standard that depicts what a healthy person should look like. Great news, right? This allows us the freedom to find health on our own terms. After all…No one knows you better than YOU!
I have created MiniNutrition to reconnect us to this definition of health by focusing on the following areas to help guide you to your optimal wellness…
Nutrition: Food is one of our most basic needs and should take priority in our lives. Balanced nutrition isn’t about being perfect, because honestly we don’t know what that is yet, but it is about making sure that we get enough of what we do need to ensure that we will thrive. MiniNutirition will provide you with the education and tools to make food and nutrition choices that are best for you and you alone.
Fitness: Our bodies are made to move. To me, fitness is staying active in any way you enjoy, as often as you can. Whether you’re training for a Crossfit competition or walking a lap around the block on your lunch break, it all counts! The key is finding a form of activity you enjoy and we at MiniNutrition will help you find movement you enjoy and motivate you to make it a priority.
Self Wealth: When it comes to wellness, we often only prioritize food and fitness, but mental wellbeing is equally, if not more important. Nutrition and fitness should never be achieved at the cost of our mental health. We all need to make the time to nurture and pamper ourselves. How we pamper ourselves will be different from one person to the next, but MiniNutrition will help provide you with ideas and tactics to help you foster happiness.
It is not always easy finding balance between, and within, these core wellness components, but finding balance in our ever-changing lives is key. Through MiniNutrition, I aim to provide everyone with approachable tools to navigate an individualized path to health & wellbeing. Follow along with our weekly blog posts, attend events and group programming, or make an appointment for a one-on-one consultation; MiniNutrition will guide you on an enjoyable journey to a healthier you!
Eat, enjoy, and THRIVE!!
